To query a database (ODBC)

1.Select the VisualStat File Menu

2.Click Query Database

 

 

From the Database page

•In ODBC Data Source, select the data source.
Depending on the data source, you may need to select the database file and/or enter a login name, password, and other information

•In Tables, Select the table you want. (Click the down arrow to see available tables.)

•In Columns, Use the arrow buttons to select the fields (variables) you want to import into your datasheet

 

 

 

Optionally (from Options page), you can:

•In Data Source, click ODBC Data Source Administrator, to check for the ODBC manager and drivers

•In SQL Query, To macro writers and advanced SQL users: You can use any SQL expression
